April 2015: If you are in New Orleans, I will be presenting a paper on gay retellings of traditional fairy tales, “Here We Are, Here We Should Be: An Examination of the Rhetoric of Gay Retellings of Fairy Tales,” at the annual Popular Culture Association of American conference.


June – July 2015: I will be co-teaching with Maggie Parke, a summer school course, “Arthurian and Fantasy Literature,” at Bangor University, in Bangor, Wales, UK.

My short story, “Happily Ever After,” was published in October in the Fall 2014 issue of Quantum Fairy Tales.

I will be giving readings this spring at: OutlantaCon/Gaylaxicon, in Atlanta, May 2-4, and at WisCon/SFRA, May 24-26, on a panel with other writers in the Outer Alliance (GLBT writers of speculative fiction).

My most recent reading was in the UK this summer, in Bath, at the Royal Oak, a pub, on 11 July 2013.  I am presently working on two books, The Werewolf and His Boy, and Happily Ever After and Other Stories. A third book, The Golden Boy, is being edited. I hope to have some readings scheduled in Spring 2014.
